President Donald Trump got a harsh comment from Liberal leader Pierre Poilievre after Trump wished success to the people of Canada as it votes. But the desire was not without a warning that Canada is’meant’ to become the 51st condition of the US. A new poll from Politico and Focaldata revealed that Trump is exceedingly unhappy in Canada.
In a study of 2,826 Indians, just 14 per share viewed Trump warmly, while 75 per cent viewed him negatively. Republicans were more likely to see him strongly, but also just 24 per cent said they do, while 61 per share view him negatively. A Leger surveys, conducted among 1,550 Indians from February 14 to February 17, found that 13 per cent see Trump strongly, while 74 per cent view him negatively. Individuals who said they don’t know much about him made up 7 per cent, while 6 per cent said they weren’t certain.
Previously, a YouGov poll of 1,030 citizens from January 22 to January 28 found that 21 per cent of Canadians viewed Trump strongly, while 72 per cent viewed him negatively. Another 6 per cent said they didn’t realize how they viewed him.
” Elect the person who has the power and knowledge to reduce your income in half, increase your military authority, for free, to the highest levels in the World, have your Vehicle, Steel, Aluminum, Lumber, Energy, and all other businesses, QUADRUPLE in length, WITH ZERO TARIFFS OR Income, if Canada becomes the cherished 51st. Position of the United States of America,” Trump posted Monday.
” No more deliberately drawn collection from many centuries ago. Look how wonderful this territory size may be. Completely entry with NO BORDER. ALL POSITIVES WITH Little NEGATIVES. IT WAS MEANT TO BE! America can no longer support Canada with the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars a time that we have been spending in the past. It makes no sense unless Canada is a State! ” Trump said.
Poilievre asked Trump to stay out of the matter that concerns just Canadians and said,” President Trump, stay out of our vote. The only people who may decide the future of Canada are Indians at the ballot box. “
” Canada will always be glad, sovereign and independent and we will NEVER get the 51st position. “
” Now Canadians may vote for change so we can improve our land, stand on our own two legs and stand up to America from a position of strength,” Poiliviere said.
