White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller said he remains convinced that President Donald Trump did arrest a million unlawful immigrants by the end of the year.
“The level of imprisonment is increasing every single day, ” Miller said Monday outside the West Wing of the White House. “Remember, we inherited a program that was completely shut down … and when we clear away some of these scoundrel district court rulings, we will be able to work with an even greater degree of force and frequency. ”
“The ICE imprisonment relocations are far beyond Biden. When I read the press, ‘ Oh, the arrests are behind the Biden administration. ’ Also why? Because they counted borders removal. We don’t include 10. 5 million individuals crossing the border. We don’t have borders relocations. So Joe Biden could’ve deported 5 % of his contacts, and the figures would still be higher than us on border removal because we have a secure border, ” Homan said during an earlier press briefing.
Miller even addressed Gov. JB Pritzker‘s (D-IL ) comments during Sunday ’s New Hampshire Democratic Party’s McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner, a must-stop appearance in the Democratic presidential primary, that “Republicans cannot know a moment of peace. ”
“ Well, what I would say is that his opinions, if nothing else, clearly could be construed as inciting violence, ” Miller said. “ Just this war that Democrat governors and mayors are waging against federal law enforcement. This is nullificationist habits, this is successionist behaviour, where they’re saying they don’t realize the power of federal law enforcement to protect the lives and lives of American residents against a foreign war. We’ve never seen anything like it. ”

During the event, Pritzker criticized “do-nothing Democrats, ” encouraging users of his party to engage in “mass demonstrations, for participation, for disruption. ”
“They have to realize that we will battle their violence with every microphone and speaker that we have, ” he said. “We may chastise them on the pulpit and then chastise them at the ballot package. ”
