This is, of course, a much chance as the Republicans have the majority in the House. But MAGA wasted no time to trolls him for his presence and his American nature.
” Impeach your wigmaker,” one right-wing control named Sara Rose said. ” You should be deported,” wrote Gunther Eagleman. ” Persons born in other countries shouldn’t be allowed to function in the US Congress,” another wrote. ” Dude you can’t even speak English,” a third person wrote.
” You always assimilated. Your membership may become revoked and you should be deported immediately to India’s front,” one wrote.
Shri Thanedar’s articles of impeachment accuse Trump of obstruction of justice, abuse of power, conquest of authority, bribery and corruption.
Who is 70-year-old Shri Thanedar?
Shri Thanedar is an American business and politician serving as the US member from Michigan’s 13th legislative region since 2023. Thanedar served as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. He was even a candidate in the Democratic primary for Governor of Michigan in the 2018 election.
Thanedar was born in Karnataka, studied in India till master’s ( He did a Chemistry masters from University of Mumbai ) and came to the US in 1979 to pursue a PhD at the University of Akron. He became a US resident in 1988. He started working as a scientist and finally turned into a business as he started buying scientist companies.
Thanedar entered politics when he ran in the 2018 Michigan general election as a Democrat.
He’s written two autobiographies: one in Marathi ( 2004 ) and The Blue Suitcase in English ( 2008 ). Thanedar lost his second wife, Shamal, to murder in 1996; he has two brothers, Neil and Samir. He married Shashi in 1999 and life in Detroit.
