    F-18 fighter jet rolls off USS Truman aircraft carrier and sinks into Red Sea; how much US Navy loses?

    The USS Harry S Truman airplane ship was being towed, but a US F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter plane reportedly slipped off the ship while it was being towed into the Red Sea on Monday.
    According to the Navy, the fighter plane slipped as seamen tore it into the airport bay on the USS Harry S Truman. The pulling team lost control of the aircraft as it fell into the Red Sea while assigned to Reach Fighter Squadron 136.
    When the proceed team lost control of the airplane, the F/A-18E was still in the aircraft sea. The Navy said in a assertion that the plane and tow vehicle were lost overboard.
    Before both the crew members on the hauling vehicle and the cockpit of the Super Hornet went over into the Red Sea, they carefully jumped out. All was unharmed, despite one sailor’s minor wounds.
    The Navy stated that the sailors towing the plane took immediate actions to move clear of the plane before it fell overboard.

    The loss of the$ 60 million aircraft was caused by regular shifting operations, which are common practices for trip preparation and maintenance work.
    Although the Navy has begun an investigation into the most recent event, it’s not yet clear whether or not they may attempt to retrieve the aircraft.
    The USS Harry S. Truman’s sharp turn to avert Houthi fire perhaps had caused the F/A-18E fighter jet to plunge into the Red Sea, according to a US official.
    According to the store, the Houthi rebels carried out drone and missile strikes on the aircraft carrier that morning.

    Since February, the USS Truman has been conducting airstrikes in Yemen against Houthi extremists.
    US Central Command confirmed that regular military activities involving robots, aircraft, ships, and fighter jets are continuous. Pete Hegseth, the defense minister, had extended the Truman’s implementation by an additional quarter.
    The USS Harry S. Truman, launched in 1998, is a 1,092-foot aircraft carrier capable of speeds over 30 knots. It can carry around 90 aircraft and accommodate more than 5,000 crew members, the CBS new reported.
    Following a collision with a vendor vehicle near Egypt, the ship just underwent maintenance. Another F/A-18 event occurred in December when the USS Gettysburg accidentally shot down one of its soldiers, despite the aircraft ‘ carefully ejecting.
