Jagmeet Singh, the pro-Khalistan leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party (NDP), broke down in tears on stage as he announced his resignation following a humiliating defeat in the federal elections.
His group also failed to secure the 12-seat required to maintain national party standing in Parliament, losing not only to him, Burnaby Central, but also to his own chair. Singh came second in his district, and the NDP lost just seven votes, dropping from 24 to 24.
Singh cried out,” It’s been the honor of my life to guide the NDP… I am disappointed that we were unable to secure more votes. He will serve as interim chief until a replacement is found.
Singh publicly supported Khalistani separatists during his tenure, demanded a ban on India’s Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS), and pressured former prime minister Justin Trudeau to oust Indian diplomats following the death of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He also pleaded with Canada to appoint sanctions against Indian officials, which was extensively dissented in India.
On social advertising, he received applause for his collapse.

That absolute donkey Jagmeet Singh lost his own seat ( came third, not even the runner-up ), led his party from 18 % to 6 %, lost national party status, and now resigns in disgrace, according to a user on X. Fine day, everyone!
Another claimed that” Khalistani Jagmeet Singh lost from the Burnaby Central chair.” His party no longer serves as a regional party. A major punch to Pakistan.
Another user shared a joke that read,” Jagmeet Singh came third in his own riding after bringing down the NDP on his own,”
One user wrote,” BIG BREAKING: Khalistani Jagmeet Singh defeated. Large success for India! FORTUNE FOR JUSTINTRUDOUGH’S POLITICS.
While another said,” Khalistani Jagmeet Singh defeated, takes down his group with him.” Federal position is lost for NDP. He is accused of using proxy to fuel violence in Punjab and Haryana.
A turning point in Canadian home politics was Jagmeet Singh’s demise, as well as a reversal of Khalistani effect in Ottawa.
