Amal Clooney could be barred from US by Donald Trump for her role in ICC to charge Netanyahu

Amal Clooney could be barred from US by Donald Trump for her role in ICC to charge Netanyahu
Amal Clooney does face sanctions from the Trump administration because of her influence in the ICC’s investigation into the cost of bringing charges against Netanyahu for war crimes.

Due to her influence on the International Criminal Court to indict Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence secretary Yoav Gallant for war crimes in Gaza, American attorney Amal Clooney may be barred from living in the US where she lives with her father George Clooney. According to The Financial Times, the UK Foreign Office issued a warning that the Trump administration might impose restrictions on a number of individual freedom lawyers, including Amal Clooney.
At risk are also Baroness Helena Kennedy of the Shaws, a former top English judge, Lord Justice Adrian Fulford, and Matrix Chambers attorney Danny Friedman.
Trump sanctioned the ICC in February and decreed that all ICC officials, employees, and members of their immediate families may be subject to financial penalties and immigration restrictions. The ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant last year on suspicion of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Mal Clooney gave the ICC advice on whether there was enough evidence to cost.
According to the FT, Trump’s order set a 60-day window for a later inside recommendation to the president regarding who else should be subject to sanctions. The deadline would have been on April 7.
Amal Clooney is never named in Trump’s professional purchase. There are chances, as the UK Foreign Office suggested, but it does not name anyone other than ICC attorney Karim Khan, who was the first to demand that the jury problem the arrest warrants.

    Amal Clooney: Who is He?

Amal Clooney, a British-Lebanese animal rights attorney, wed George Clooney in 2014, one month after their first engagement through a mutual friend. They gave birth to fraternal twins in 2017. Although there were stories about their impending marriage late, George maintained that their relationship feels like it hit the jackpot.
Despite her well-known legitimate practice, Amal Clooney and George and their sons remained in the country.
