Valentina Gomez, a former Republican presidential candidate, walked up to the stage and grabbed the mic during a Muslim society celebration at the Texas State Capitol on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at a Muslim community gathering for political proposal. Gomez allegedly grabbed the speaker and railed against Islam in videos shared on social media.
The unsuccessful MAGA member later shared the video on X, saying:” Islam has no position in Texas. Please send me your way to Congress to put an end to the Islamization of America. I merely fear God.
The incident occurred on Texas Muslim Capitol Day, a day-long celebration that includes a march, meditation, training sessions, meal, and discussions with local officials.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations ( CAIR ), along with other civil rights organizations, demanded accountability for Gomez’s actions while highlighting the importance of protecting religious liberty.
Gomez has sparked controversy before, which is not the first day. She demanded the public execution of illegal immigrants who engage in violent crimes in a battle videos from December 2024.

Gomez vying for the placement of Missouri Secretary of State in 2024, drawing attention to her controversial views and controversial videos. She received only 7.4 % of the vote count in the Republican primary, placing her fifth among the eight candidates.
