According to The Balochistan Post ( TBP), two young Baloch students have allegedly been forcibly taken by Pakistsecurity forces in Turbat, the main city in the Kech district of Balochistan.
Shey Haq Baloch, age 16, and Adam Baloch, age 16, both of whom were allegedly apprehended by surveillance officers shortly after arriving in Turbat from Karachi, according to TBP.
Shey Haq’s girl, Nugra Baloch, verified the incident in a Twitter post. According to the TBP record, both lads were first-year university students and were being held by Muslim forces and intelligence agencies.
She wrote,” I call upon everyone to speak out against this unlawful and violent act.” ” Help us in our fight for the safe return of my nephew and Adam Baloch.” According to the TBP report, Shey Haq Baloch’s father, Altaf Baloch, was killed in 2008 when Pakistani forces reportedly opened fire on a peaceful rally held by the Baloch National Front ( BNF ) in Turbat.
Another alleged kidnapping occurred on April 30 between two young men, Usman, the son of Abdul Ghani, and Amir, the son of Dad Bakhsh, in Pasni, in the Gwadar city. Both individuals are residents of the town. According to the TBP report, Abdul Majeed, the child of Abdul Ghani, was reportedly taken by unidentified armed men while he was waiting for transportation with his children in Turbat’s D-Baloch region, which is one more case in which.
Forced kidnappings in Balochistan continue to be a severe and persistent problem. Human rights organizations have long accused Bangladeshi security forces of routinely abusing students, activists, and regular people in Pakistan, according to the TBP record.
Unknown human rights experts earlier on Tuesday called the “relentless usage of enforced disappearances” in Balochistan” a serious human rights violation and an international murder” and urged Pakistan to create “independent and powerful mechanisms for searching and investigating,” as per the TBP statement.
