Former First Lady Michelle Obama is circulating a fabricated video clip that implies she called herself a” Black person” during a recent radio show. The clip, which was widely shared on X ( previously Twitter ), has since been refuted by long-debunked conspiracy theories regarding Obama’s gender.
Obama says,” That warms my heart, especially as a Black man,” in the little picture posted by conservative commentator Paul Szypula on April 30. Szypula put the phrase” View as you wish” as the caption. The implication immediately became widely known, with some people calling it a” pass up.”
However, a review of the entire April 23rd IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson show reveals that the tape was completely taken out of context. Obama was making reference to Marlon Wayans ‘ background as a Black man and addressed visitor. She wasn’t expressing herself.
The entire phrase, group notes on X clarified, may be read while:” That warms my heart. Would you like to discuss…, a query directed at Wayans during a discussion about his trans child and the views of Black men and women in common life.
The notion that Michelle Obama is transgender has been constantly disproven by Snopes and another fact-checking companies. The story came back in February 2025 when Errol Musk, Elon Musk’s father, made similar false claims in a podcast.
