Illegal refugee who apparently crossed the US boundary at least five times before being detained for the alleged rape of a dead on a Manhattan metro teach near the Whitehall Street place is an illegal immigrant.
An ICE director reported that Felix Rojas, 44, had crossed the US-Mexico border “on various times” during the 1990s without getting permission before he was stopped by Border Patrol agents and escorted out on his own volition.
Rojas then re-enttered the land undetected until his imprisonment by the NYPD on Sunday night. According to authorities, the arrest was related to Jorge Gonzalez, a 37-year-old community man who had passed away on an R train about three weeks prior.
What Rojas reportedly did after getting Gonzalez dead or dying on a train chair on April 8 was revealed in a court moving this year. Initially going through Gonzalez’s hands to steal him, Rojas then returned to sexually abuse his body, according to prosecutors ‘ security film.
They claimed that whenever the train stopped, Rojas consistently zipped up his pants and altered Gonzalez’s pants in an effort to avoid getting caught up in the act. The abuse, according to the prosecution, lasted for more than 30 days. According to several studies, Gonzalez’s death was possible caused by natural causes.
According to court records, Rojas remained present when a MTA staff discovered the body on time, around 12:25 am. Emergency service told Rojas to leave the station while they examined Gonzalez, who was later found dead.
Rojas is being held without parole and facing charges including murder and great burglary. He entered a not-guilty appeal and will show up in court on May 5.
When he turned himself in to the NYPD, it was revealed that he had” a card from another land.” Rojas ‘ most recent unlawful entry time is still unknown, according to the ICE representative.
Following his trial order, immigration officials in New York City filed immigration detainers with Manhattan Central Booking on Monday and the Department of Corrections at Rikers Island on Wednesday, according to the director.
A Border Patrol agent, who refers to the accused as Felix Jeronimo-Rojas, confirmed the allegations in an ICE spokesman’s statement that he had been in trouble with the accused three days and once in 1999, with Rojas freely returning to Mexico after each encounter.
