A Houthi nuclear weapon struck an area inside Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport on Saturday, causing the nation’s major heat gate to temporarily close. Six people were hurt. After Israeli weather defenses failed to catch the missile, the IDF confirmed that it was fired from Yemen and landed close to an access route within the air-port perimeter.
A man in his 50s was taken to a hospital in good to moderate state with a broken limb, according to emergency services, while a 54-year-old woman and two others were hurt by the storm shockwave. Two other women, ages 22 and 34, were hurt while fleeing for safety, and a 64-year-old person suffered minor injuries as a result. Two more people received severe anxiety treatment.
Surveillance images captured the effect, and the airport suspended all take-offs and flights for about an hour before reopening. Israel Katz, the defense minister, issued a warning that “whoever harms us, we will strike them seven times,” even though Israel has not yet retaliated immediately in Yemen.
