Sweden: A Scandinavian attorney announced on Sunday that he had requested that a person who is suspected of a triple shooting be kept in police custody.
Three people detained in the investigation on fear of inciting death have been released, but they are also the subject of an investigation, according to counsel Andreas Nyberg.
The person being held in pre-trial detention was in his 20s and had been in police prison since Thursday, according to the attorney. His judge hearing has not yet been scheduled for a specific time.
Three men, ages 15 to 20, were killed later on Tuesday night in broad light at a hairdressing shop in northern Uppsala, a college town north of Stockholm.
Some folks in Sweden are concerned about a rising tide of gang violence because of the shooting, but police have never established whether it was gang-related.
At least one of the victims, according to the Swedish media, had ties to organized crime. That state has not been confirmed by authorities. In recent years, Sweden has been trying to stop a storm of rival groups battling for control of the drug industry.
