A Tren de Aragua crew chief reportedly belongs to an illegal refugee who was detained by Homeland Security last week after allegedly displaying bombs in a video posted on social media.
Yonaiker Gallegos, who had previously gone by the title Yonaiker Martinez Ramos, was pictured on X, previously Twitter, which Homeland Security Investigations Los Angeles shared on Tuesday.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that Yonaiker Martinez Ramos, a suspected Tren de Aragua part, was “administratively arrested” by Homeland Security Investigations officers and Enforcement and Removal Operations Los Angeles for being “unlawfully present in the United States.” Martinez is a member of Venezuela and has illegally crossed the border into Texas.
The alleged unlawful immigrant crew chief had already been detained for allegedly carrying out false identification and fraudulent checks, according to Fox News. Gallegos was discovered by a top Trump administration national on April 22 and later discovered that he was good using the title Martinez-Ramos as a false identity.
The Department of Homeland Security stated in a statement to Fox News that “on Tuesday night April 22, 2025, HSI was able to find Gallegos who was utilizing the false brand Yoniaker Rafel MARTINEZ-RAMOS, who was in state prison in Los Angeles County on offense fees.”

On April 23, Homeland Security Investigations ‘ National Gang Unit was able to recognize the illegal immigrant as Gallegos and get tattoos and booking photos of him. Moreover, the Trump administration official claimed that social media posts and images helped to verify his identity.
Gallegos was detained for Title 8 immigration transgressions on April 25 according to a top Trump administration standard who informed Fox News. Gallegos was also alleged to have been “identified as a leader of TDA [ Tren de Aragua ] based in California.”
Due to his current arrest by Homeland Security Investigations officials, a video on social media appears to show Gallegos flashing bombs and a gun.
