A Ghostburger director, David Utter, reported to the Washington Examiner that agents stopped by the eatery on Tuesday at around 3:30 p.m. and left an I-9 see of observation form that said they had “until a specific time to send our I-9 verifications for the employees that work for the company.”
He added that it was the first occasion in his almost ten years working in the restaurant business that he had witnessed something like that. The agencies noted that none of them appeared armed and that they didn’t need to come in or speak to someone, Utter reported.
I-9 comments also uncovered different restaurants. Eight or nine agents reportedly entered Milki’s restaurant simultaneously through all public doors, according to a Washingtonian record.

” We heard that someone like this might be happening right now, and I mean, I know where it’s coming from. I mean, I know some experience sort of differed,” Utter said, describing the conversation with the officials as “pleasant.”
A Chang Chang employee claimed that their connection with the agencies was less enjoyable. The people said they were doing an “inspections for I-9 types” and left after being informed that the boss wasn’t there when they arrived at the creation just before noon. They returned later and made demands of the employees, but the administrator that stated that they needed a subpoena.

The people claimed that Jaleo DC had been visited as well, but the restaurant disputed this claim.
The Department of Homeland Security and ICE reached out for opinion, but they did not respond.
