Dr. Prasad was born in the US to american relatives in Ohio and Chicago. He attended Michigan State University, where he took biology and health care ethics training. He earned his health degree from the University of Chicago in 2009, and he also earned his internal medicine residency from Northwestern University in 2012. Prasad served as assistant and finally associate professor at the Oregon Health &, Science University from 2015 to 2020. He presently works for San Francisco General Hospital. Prasad is a whole professor of UCSF’s hematology-oncology program.
