Alvin Brown has been fired from his place, according to a White House official who did not give specifics about it. Brown was appointed to the five-member panel in March 2024, was promoted to vice president in December, and was then appointed to a five-year word there. The shift is extraordinary in recent memory, according to aviation security experts.
Former NTSB investigator Jeff Guzzetti told the shop,” This is the first time in contemporary record that the White House has removed a plank part.”
Brown was prevented from entering his office on Tuesday, according to sources who spoke with the news, but that he was afterwards escorted inside.
Brown’s dismissal comes as the leadership searches for solutions to numerous air travel security issues, most notably the lack of air traffic controllers, delayed flights, and outdated Federal Aviation Administration technologies.
