At least two people were killed when Russia launched a weapon and a barrage of drones on the Russian capital on Wednesday morning, according to Ukrainian officials. Four children were among the eight people who were also hurt in the attack, according to the Kyiv City military leadership in a blog on Telegram. Vladimir Putin’s announcement to end the more than three-year conflict with a planned coercive 72-hour peace coincided with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s celebrations for Victory Day in Moscow. Ukraine has repeatedly sought an extended and fast truce. The Kremlin claimed that the humanitarian-ordered truce did begin on Thursday and run through Saturday to commemorate Moscow’s victory over Nazi Germany in 1945. The administration reported that 28 Soviet drones and at least one ballistic missile were found in the airport of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. The weapon and 11 robots were shot down by Air Defense troops. He claimed that drone debris from a five-story personal complex in the Shevchenkivskyi district sparked a fire in various apartments where the victims had been discovered. Three children among the four were taken to the hospital, while three some received medical on-site. After an effect caused by drone dust, fire broke out across several upper-floor rentals of a nine-story tower in the Sviatoshynskyi area, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration. The 100-square-meter fire that spread over the course of five hours was contained. No injuries were reported in the Dniprovskyi region, where a drone attack partly destroyed a high-rise. A projectile missile was intercepted by air defence in Solomianskyi, causing the weapon to fall and harm the city’s non-residential system. In that hit, one man was hurt. Moscow did not respond to the harm right away. The biggest liberal trip in Russia is Victory Day, which commemorates the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in 1945. On Thursday, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Portuguese chief Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and other leaders will accumulate in the Russian capital to observe a parade with thousands of troops accompanied by vehicles and weapons. The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine urged other nations to refrain from sending military personnel to the rally, as some have done in the past. No official confirmations have been made for the upcoming occasion.
