Former President Joe Biden criticized President Donald Trump‘s plan on the Russia-Ukraine battle, accusing him of peace and conducting himself in a way that is “beneath America”.

Biden sat down with the BBC this week for his second meeting since leaving the White House in January and was asked about his predecessor’s management of several things.

Biden slammed the Trump administration’s idea that Ukraine will have to accept land in a tranquility deal with Russia. He called it “modern-day peace” and warned that” Europe is going to gain confidence in the certainty of America and the management of America”.

” I really don’t understand how people think that if we allow a tyrant, a criminal, to choose he’s going to take substantial portions of territory that aren’t his, that that’s going to meet him. I don’t really understand”, Biden said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During his day in the White House, Biden was a strong supporter of Ukraine, which was invaded by Russia in February 2022. He provided the nation with considerable arms and support. Trump has been more important of Ukraine and the United States’s support of the country in the battle, which he says would not have started if he was reelected. Trump has opened a discourse between Russia and Ukraine as he seeks an end to the conflict.

Biden denounced Trump’s do in a strained February Oval Office meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which resulted in Trump booting Zelensky from the White House.

” I found it kind of beneath America in the way that took location”, Biden said.

Trump and Zelensky met again at Pope Francis’s death in Vatican City, a gathering that both sides said went also. Weeks later, the U. S. and Ukraine signed a materials offer, which was expected to be signed at the February meeting, tying the nations close together.
