The Indian Embassy in Beijing has urged China’s state-run newspaper Global Times to check the details before posting them on social media. In response to the tabloid’s policy of American military strikes allegedly targeting Pakistan’s evil system during# OperationSindoor, the Embassy said in a article on X that” we may advise you validate your information and cross-examine your options before disseminating this kind of disinformation.”

In a follow-up post, the Embassy stated that” Several pro-Pakistan handles are making baseless claims in the wake of# OperationSindoor and attempting to mislead the public.” The Embassy’s remarks come as a result of zoonotic posts from Pakistani accounts and some media reports suggesting an American Rafale aircraft had been shot down near Bahawalpur. When media outlets discuss such data without checking sources, it reflects a significant fall in obligation and literary ethics. One such popular picture, however, was identified as misleading by the PIB Fact Check team, which claimed it was taken from a MiG-21 crash in Punjab’s Moga district in 2021.
