Trump sat for a mobile radio interview Wednesday evening with Hugh Hewitt, during which he was asked if Ocasio-Cortez’s” personality” would be enough to stable the election.
” I think you’re right about the charisma”, Trump responded. ” I don’t know about her speaking skill. I don’t understand about her debating capacity. I don’t understand how she is in an appointment because you often see her being interviewed, often, and that’s a terrible thing”.
” She still has to answer queries, and I haven’t seen that however”, he continued. ” You have to be able to speak in front of huge crowds. Her speech is a little unique. I didn’t say it’s awful, but it’s a small loud. And a loud tone, I’m not convinced that sells”.
Since January, Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest person ever elected to Congress, has embarked on a countrywide” Fighting Oligarchy” journey in partnership with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Many political strategists have pointed to the plan as Ocasio-Cortez sowing the seeds for a 2028 political charge.
Though Democrats have floundered to find a regional group leader to march behind since Trump won the 2024 vote, Republicans are also dealing with a dark 2028 picture.
Trump and his friends have flirted with the idea of the president unconstitutionally running for a second term next general election cycle, but Trump himself backed off that thought in a Sunday interview with NBC News.

” This is not something I’m looking to accomplish. I’m looking to have four wonderful years and turn it over to somebody, ultimately a great Republican, a tremendous Republican, to carry it forwards”, he told Kristen Welker before naming both Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as possible successors.
