'Pakistan doesn’t get to play the victim': Nikki Haleybacks India’s right to retaliate after Pahalgam terror attack
    Nikki Haley

Indian-American Republican president Nikki Haley on Thursday backed India’s right to fight after the Pahalgam evil attack, stating that” Pakistan does not get to play the victim” and that no country should be spared for supporting extremism. ” Jihadists launched an attack that killed lots of American people. India had every right to fight and protect itself. Pakistan does not get to play the victim. No country gets a complete for supporting criminal activity”, Haley said in a blog on X. Her comment came in the midst of India’s Procedure Sindoor, a detail military response to the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which left 26 residents dead. India targeted nine evil tents in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir using robots and weapons.

    Procedure Sindoor

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, foreign secretary Vikram Misri said the American military conducted a “measured, non-escalatory, equal, and dependable” strike to destroy terrorist infrastructure and hinder further attacks. Misri noted that despite distinct proof of terror exercise, Islamabad had taken” no verifiable steps” to work against the parties involved. Haley, who served as US ambassador to the UN during Donald Trump’s presidency, has continuously advocated cutting US assistance to Pakistan. In her 2024 presidential campaign—before dropping away in March 2024—she vowed to stop sending “hundreds of thousands” to places like Pakistan, calling it portion of a poor foreign policy. In a previous op-ed in the New York Post, she defended Trump’s determination to axe$ 2 billion in military assistance to Pakistan, citing its hiding of jihadists who had killed American soldiers.
