According to Bloomberg, Apple’s golden design team is developing new AI bits to lessen its dependency on Intel. This technology may power the next generation of Macs, AI servers, and bright glasses.

A pair of AI-powered clever glasses is the first solution to be expected to use the new device. Consumable goods are anticipated to be produced almost two years later than mass production is anticipated for 2027.

Apple’s wise or mixed glasses would contend with Meta’s Ray-Bans.

According to Bloomberg, the cards used in Apple’s suggested Artificial glasses may be low-energy chips with fewer components, similar to those found in the Apple Watch. These cards could be modified to have multiple cameras regulates, making them suitable for both AI-enhanced smartwatches and wise glasses. The proposed clever glasses might compete with Meta’s Ray-Ban engagement.

A consumer-friendly edition of virtual reality for the masses seems to be in order, despite Apple’s ongoing efforts to develop glasses-like devices capable of layering a digital software over the user’s natural environment. According to Bloomberg, Meta has had success creating eye-level clever glasses that mimic smartphones in operation. An AI assistant could be integrated into the product, with clever glasses expected to launch second.

Observe: Tim Cook’s fascination with AR glasses affects Apple’s Vision Pro Roadmap.

Apple’s wider AI initiative, Apple Intelligence, has experienced disruptions and lags in comparison to Android smartphone AI competitors like Google Gemini. However, Meta intends to relieve AR lens in 2027.

The hardware for the smart glasses will be produced by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing CO. ( TSMC), just like other Apple chips.

Apple intends to put AI capabilities to AirPods and other upcoming devices, so it will require new chips. According to Bloomberg, Apple is developing a device for an Apple Watch with a camera that is codenamed Nevis and one for AirPods. By the year 2027, both may be available.

    Must-read Apple policy

Apple wants to give AI answers to servers using its own bits as well.

Apple’s plans to add conceptual AI to its line of products require a lot of server-side processing power to store and secure data. According to Bloomberg, Apple Intelligence requests that cannot be processed on-device could be processed by custom AI client chips. Apple has a contract with OpenAI right now to utilize ChatGPT to handle calls that didn’t get performed on-device.

The M2 Ultra and M3 Ultra chips from Apple may be upgraded to the client cards. Broadcom may add a part, The Information claims.

Mac cards up to the M7 are rumored to be coming soon.

According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to introduce three brand-new Mac bits:

    • The M6 was given the codename Komodo.
    • Borneo is the codename for the M7.
    • Sotra, a second chip, is described as even more developed.

According to Bloomberg, the iphones Pro and MacBook Pro released at the end of the year may receive Apple’s newest M5 computer.
