MEXICO CITY: President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico on Friday said her administration had sued Google over the bank’s decision to brand the Gulf of Mexico as” Gulf of America“- a spit going up to Feb, when President Donald Trump issued an executive purchase to name the gulf.
The buy prompted some native govts and politicians in the US to accept the use of the name on official documents. It likewise caused Google to apply the change on its drawings. People in the United States would see the body of water with the new title while people in Mexico may remain seeing Gulf of Mexico, the firm announced in a statement. The rest of the world may see both titles.
Sheinbaum did not say when or where exactly her leadership brought the lawsuit against Google. Her legitimate office said the match was filed in a Mexican judge in March.
