3 die in North Cascades National Park climbing fall
In North Cascades National Park, Washington, three climbing tragically passed away in a fall.

Sheriff’s office reported that three climbing from affluent Seattle were killed over the weekend in North Cascades National Park. About 16 miles ( 26 kilometers ) west of Mazama in an area of rock formations that are popular with climbers, the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post on Monday. In the slide, a group of four Renton climbers were involved in a rocky gully descent known as North Early Winters Spire. Three people, age 36, 47, and 63, were reported to have died at the field, according to the blog. According to Okanogan County Undersheriff David Yarnell, the third person who suffered inner bleeding and a traumatic brain injury in the fall managed to free himself, walk to his car, and drive to a pay phone to call for assistance. The guy was then transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. Yarnell said,” He didn’t know he had as serious of internal injury as he did.” His recent state is unknown. The bodies were recovered from the professional, mountainous terrain by a helicopter rescue team from local Snohomish County. The article claimed that the accident was caused by an anchor failing while rappelling and that the post is now assuming that it was the cause. An analysis is pending.
