In 2022, Hayden’s one of Hayden’s techniques was to help artist Lizzo to perform James Madison’s diamond flute. When she twerked while holding the 200-year-old music equipment, Lizzo was wearing next to nothing at the time.
Lizzo proceeded to stick out her tongue and stutter her mouth while playing James Madison’s 200-year-old glass trumpet, which was given to her by the Library of Congress.

Staff members blocked Assistant Attorney General Todd Blanche, who was appointed by Trump to lead the Library of Congress, from carrying out his duties on Monday. The Post Millennial accounts:
On Monday, Blanche sent two Justice Department Leaders over to the Library of Congress with a letter informing officials that Paul Perkins and Brian Nieves may be heading up the US Copyright Office.
The people were called by US Capitol Police after the Library of Congress staff refused to let them in. Meg Williams, the school’s general counsel, told them they may be denied entry to the Copyright Office when they asked to leave. According to the New York Times, Staff is “recognizing Robert Newlen, the deputy lieutenant teacher who was Dr. Hayden’s No. 2, until it is given way from Congress, serving as the acting library.

Newlen claims that he won’t move forward until Congress participates, which means that he’s joining the rest of the persistent employees in this endeavor.
” Congress is already talking to the White House, and we haven’t yet received instructions from Congress about how to proceed. We will send more details as soon as we can,” Newlen told Library of Congress workers on Monday in an message. The kicking: Newlen added the phrase “acting library of Congress” to his internet name.

Of course, Democratic members of Congress are wading in their undergarments over the situation. Rep. Joseph D. Morelle (D-N. ). Y. ) and Alex Padilla (D-Calif. ) made a whiny statement that read,” It is very concerning that Trump sent executive branch officials from the Department of Justice to take over a legislative branch agency.”
The speech continued,” Congress had stand up for Article I of the Constitution and protect the democratic Library and the legislative branch from White House political control.”

Morelle and Padilla want to know what DOGE has been looking at in its analysis of the Library of Congress in addition to all their posturing in the highest of dudgeon. These individuals will never let up.
Perhaps Congress needs to act, but the Library of Congress team needs to let the president’s nominees in so they can carry out their crucial duties until they do so. You know the protest may be audible if the group circumstances were reversed.
