A 21-year-old person has been detained on suspicion of fire with the intention to harm career following a blaze at a house owned by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, according to local media. The fire broke out at Starmer’s past family home in Kentish Town, north London, early on Monday, and he still owns it. Following Labour’s victory in the election next year, Starmer moved into Downing Street as the standard prime minister’s residence. At 1:35 am, the London Fire Brigade issued an alert to the Metropolitan Police. No injuries were reported from the flames, which damaged the property’s gate, and firefighters were quick to contain it. While studies continue, authorities have cordoned off the region. The incident is still being investigated, and no further comments may be made, Starmer’s spokesperson said in a statement.
