Out of Control Green Grifting Under Biden Was Worse Than We Imagined

The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund ( GRF), which was approved as part of the” Inflation Reduction Act” in 2022, has proved to be a cornucopia of graft for Biden’s Democratic Party favorites and green non-governmental organizations ( NGOs ). &nbsp,

In the waning days of the Biden administration, the GRF hurried$ 20 billion in offers to only six companies. According to The Free Press, the EPA people charged with vetteing the NGOs that were going to receive$ 20 billion repeatedly objected to the offers. Despite their fears, the income was distributed.

We’re just starting to understand how dishonest the process of giving$ 20 billion to the friends of the Democratic Party actually was. &nbsp,

I’ve written extensively about Stacey Abrams, a former governor of Georgia, having connections to an NGO that received$ 2 billion from the GRF despite having only$ 100 in the bank when they applied for the grant. As hundreds of smaller non-profits joined coalitions of grifters to win millions of dollars, despite many having no prior experience handling that kind of money, the$ 20 billion fund evolved into a one-stop shop for climate graft. &nbsp, &nbsp,

The Free Press obtained records that list the evaluations of the grant programs submitted by the companies that requested funds from the GRF. Some of them open your eyes.

One of the justifications for the award review is that the beneficiary must supply a justification for costs, including the wages of top executives. The national staff who reviewed the grant application for Power Forward Communities, the Stacey Abrams-linked NGO that was chosen to receive$ 2 billion, questioned the estimated earnings and costs.

It was terse, though not always in a good way, for such a significant part. Many of the charges were only presented, with little to no justification for their reasonableness. I would have preferred that they had avoided the journey issue and explained why they were required to pay the CEO$ 800,000, which may increase to$ 948,000 in the seventh time. And chief activity commander$ 455, 000 per month”.

Anyone who has ever submitted a grant application for a government knows that this is a delicate task that won’t be accepted by many different federal agencies. However, Biden’s EPA has only given these ignorant buffoons$ 2 billion in taxpayer money.

Appalachian Community Capital, a different nonprofit, applied for$ 1 billion from the bank despite never having managed to get that much. It spent less than$ 4.5 million in the year 2023, the most recent year for which it has filed tax returns. In their remarks, two writers made the observation that this lack of experience was “much lower than what is being proposed under this offer opportunity.”

A critic also pointed out that Appalachian Community Capital intended to use$ 205 million to pay for 700 charging stations and$ 215 million to pay for 600 zero-emission cars. The reviewer wrote,” This is$ 358, 333 per EV vehicle,” adding that$ 150, 000 per charging station” seems too high.”

In the end, the EPA awarded Appalachian Community Capital$ 500 million.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of the Treasury, and the EPA were among the writers who came from a variety of organizations. Based on the written software and a 40-minute meeting, a panel of judges made their recommendations for grant approval&nbsp. &nbsp,

Unsurprisingly, the words “equity and economic righteousness” and “labor and equal workforce” were among the criteria for receiving the funds. If they were awake enough, they could have been parties of serial killers who could have also be granted a grant.

After a secretly recorded video from Project Veritas that depicted an ex-EPA employee likening the funds ‘ deployment to” throwing gold bars” off the Titanic, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin has pledged to recover the$ 20 billion. Before the Trump presidency took over, he added that the purpose was to “get the money out as quickly as possible.”

However, the$ 20 billion dispute is still ongoing. An EPA prosecutor noted that if the court determines that the EPA has no legal grounds to reimburse the give money or prevent it from being distributed to the nonprofits in an email that was obtained from the government last month.

Legally speaking, Zeldin faces an uphill task. The EPA disbursed the money in accordance with company rules, and Congress officially appropriated it. It does take some time to recover. &nbsp,

However, Zeldin consented to their allocation after a national judge made the request to unblock the funds from Citibank records in Washington. Zeldin claimed in a speech to The Free Press that the grant-award approach was “riddled with self-dealing, conflicts of interest, incompetent consumers, and reduced supervision.” &nbsp,

Biden was aware that the gravy train was about to end for climate change advocacy groups and wanted to give them sufficient money to drive out the Trump administration. He appears to have had success.
