According to Planned Parenthood’s most recent monthly statement, the group carried out a record-breaking range of abortions while also receiving its highest levels of taxpayer money to date.

Planned Parenthood provided 402, 200 pregnancies during the year, according to the 2023-24 review. Additionally, the organization received more than$ 2 million in daily tax dollars, or$ 800 million.

Prenatal services, pregnancy care, and implementation recommendations make up a tiny minority of the choices they offer, according to Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, who criticized the organization’s priorities. Their other priorities include their campaign investing to defeat Republicans and their assault on parental rights, trans treatments, and social spending.

The party continued,” This report raises the need to stop forcing taxpayers to fund an economy that robs unborn life and dwells on women and girls.” Planned Parenthood, on the other hand, emphasized that despite new regulations enacted in roughly 20 state, it is still able to offer abortion services. Following the Supreme Court’s 2022 Dobbs determination, which overturned Roe v. Wade and gave specific states the authority to regulate abortion, these laws were passed.

According to National Review, pro-life Republican politicians have long been concerned about attempting to get federal funding for Planned Parenthood, but some groups within the GOP have made that effort difficult. A few moderate House Republicans resisted cutting funding for the business as legislative Republicans continue to negotiate a budget reconciliation offer, according to NOTUS.

Representatives Mike Lawler ( N. ), and Mike Lawler ( N. ). Y. representing tight districts, Jen Kiggans ( Va. ), and Brian Fitzpatrick ( Pa. ). Planned Parenthood may not be able to receive Medicaid payouts for non-abortion service under the current proposal. Pro-life advocates contend that people funding directly supports the pregnancy industry, adds National Review, but the Hyde Amendment prohibits national funds from immediately covering abortion procedures.
