The new Associated Press ( AP )- National Opinion Research Center ( NORC ) Poll has a somewhat bizarre quality.
Liberals are a little concerned about the natural figures. Just about one-third of Democrats are “very positive” or” significantly optimistic” about the party’s potential, according to the poll. In the summer of 2024, that figure represented 6 in 10 Democrats who were cheerful or somewhat positive.  ,

Following the Democrats ‘ sluggishness in the November elections, these findings are not entirely unexpected. Unusual is that rank-and-file Democrats don’t believe the party is pressing much against Trump, which is the main driving force behind the optimism.
According to participant Damien Williams from Cahokia Heights, Illinois,” I’m not really great on Democrats best now.”
What do these Democrats want from their leaders, aside from picking up a cannon and storming the White House?  ,
However, 55 % of Republicans express optimism or general optimism about the direction of their party. The difference is who is in charge of it, not one party being in authority and the other being out of power.
Democrat Monica Brown, a 61-year-old social worker from Knoxville, Tennessee, said,” I really feel like the majority of the ancient Democratic Party wants to go.” They are not in tune with the current era. They are not conversant with the new earth. There is such a section within the group.
Bernie Sanders, a Vermont individual who has double run for the Democratic presidential election and has recently staged rallies against Trump opposition, has a around 4 in 10 opinion in the country. About three-quarters of self-described Democrats think well of Smith.
Ocasio-Cortez, who has joined Sanders in the” Fighting Oligarchy” tour, has received the support of about half of Democrats. Nevertheless, about 3 in 10 Americans have a positive view of the 35-year-old representative, who is occasionally mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2028. She is less well-known among U.S. adults.
The most well-known Senate Democrat, Schumer, is less well-known than Smith or Ocasio-Cortez.

Gavin Newsom’s New Plan for the” 28 Democratic Election: Attack the Homeless” is:
Going forward, both parties have a negative perspective on politics in general, with Republicans having a less sore spot. 73 % of Republicans were pessimistic about the state of American politics last summer. That percentage has fallen by about 50 %.  ,
Liberals ‘ opinion of the state of politics is much less optimistic, according to AP-NORC:
About 7 out of 10 Democrats are skeptical about the state of elections in this nation, up from 60 % the previous summer. And 55 % of Democrats are skeptical about the selection of our leaders under our social system, up from next summer, when Joe Biden was still in office.
Republicans ‘ attitudes toward their group are about as advantageous as they were in September of last year. There has been a drop in the percentage of Democrats who are overrepresented in their party since last September ( 85 % vs. 70 % ). ]sic ]
Why some Democrats don’t believe their party’s fervent opposition to Donald Trump is” strong” enough, it’s a mystery. I don’t think Trump’s calling himself a dictator, tyrant, or any other name would help them experience the beautiful, hateful feelings they developed during Trump’s first term.  ,
