According to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, Kid Cudi’s vehicle suddenly exploded in his driveway on Wednesday after Sean” Puff” Combs threatened to blow it up. Ventura, a key government witness, is a key witness in Combs ‘ continuous sex-trafficking and criminal prosecution. According to the New York Post, she told the jury that the danger first appeared in late 2011 immediately after the hip-hop tycoon found out she had started dating Cudi, whose true name is Scott Mescudi. In her evidence, Ventura claimed that” He mentioned when we were out of the land that Scott’s vehicles may be blown up and that he wanted his friends to see it.” When she and Combs later met Cudi at SoHo House in New York, she later recalls the rapper asking,” What about my car?” Combs reaped,” What automobile?” in a cool tone. and continued to say no more. The conference came to an end there. Ventura and Combs engaged in a tense relationship that lasted for 11 times. In a civil lawsuit filed in 2023, she first formally claimed that Combs had threatened to use the car bomb and that Cudi’s car had also exploded shortly before. Ventura explained in judge how Combs discovered her marriage with Cudi. She claimed that he used her phone to access what she called a “freak-off,” a term used to describe the supposedly intimate events Combs organized. She and one of his aides, Capricorn Clark, exchanged letters about bringing her amenities to Cudi’s house. Ventura claimed Combs “lunged” at her with a screw and later kicked her as she left his home after the discovery. Photos of wounds her mother had on her back and legs were shown to the court. She claimed she returned to find the bathroom stuffed with faeces, equipment knocked over, and blood on the floor after witnessing shocking scenes in her motel room that night. An internet Ventura and Clark sent to her mother in December 2011 was likewise read in court. She wrote,” The threats that [Sean Combs ] has made of me are that he will release two sexually explicit videos, one on Christmas Day ]and one other.” Ventura acknowledged that when she first explained the mistreatment to her family, she downplayed it. When asked if she had been forthcoming about the violence, she replied,” No, I told her it was the first time.” Combs has entered a not-guilty plea to extortion and sex-trafficking fees. He may receive a life sentence if found guilty.
