After a rally last Friday at a detention center for illegal immigrants in New Jersey where three Democratic members of Congress staged a political prank, Georgia Republican Buddy Carter has passed a resolution removing them from committee projects.

The Department of Homeland Security ( DHS) was not amused by their showboating.
The members of Congress who storm into a detention facility, according to DHS, “goes beyond a ridiculous social stunt and puts the security of our law enforcement agents and the prisoners in danger.”
Members of Congress are not above the rules, and they are not permitted to enter confinement services without permission. We would have facilitated a tour of the facility had these people requested a visit, according to DHS.
