We liberals have detested Disney’s woke move for years, and rightfully so, but we can often forget that the company has frequently included Christian information in its American theme parks.

The Candlelight Processional presents a blatantly biblical Christmas production that features celebrities who narrate the accounts of Jesus ‘ birth and choirs who sing carols throughout the year. It has been a vacation cornerstone at Disneyland since 1958, and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom first opened its doors in 1971 before moving to Epcot in 1993. The only year the Candlelight Procession didn’t take place was in 2020 ( for obnoxious reasons ) was the year.
A Christian songs festival considered Night of Joy took place in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom between 1983 and 2017. Disney replaced that festival with several concert series at Epcot in 2018 that featured artists from various genres, including Christian and gospel music, Garden Rocks in the spring, Sounds Like Summer in the summer ( duh ), and Eat to the Beat in the fall.
Although these performances typically draw a little extra attention to the World Showcase Lagoon, Mother’s Day was the most popular time for the performers. Two times of worship were featured at the Garden Rocks music on Sunday and Monday, which included Grammy winners Maverick City Music.

Maverick City Music performed three shows on both times, but delays were caused by bad weather on Sunday nights. The group that gathered to devotion didn’t stop at that.
In the middle of Walt Disney World, devotion occasionally erupts, but last evening that was the case. A large crowd gathered at Epcot’s American Gardens Theatre as rains fell to observe Maverick City Music perform live, according to Jordan Sekulow of CCM Magazine. What typically causes a rise in informal area traffic turned into a full-on devotion service, with no one wanting to leave.
Did Jesus Get a Gym Bro?, Episode 11 of  , Faith All Over the Place,
What a potent practice, according to Instagram user Malorie Elrod. ” Merrying Jesus in Walt Disney World’s heart.” The weather was unable to prevent His name from being raised away.
” We stayed for every fixed, and Maverick City Song was remarkable every day,” Elrod continued.
Even though Disney doesn’t do much marketing for this type of information in the gardens, it’s motivating. It’s a pleasant replacement for some of the material that Disney has produced recently.

” Disney does not advertise it a lot, but someone at the top still recognizes the value and significance of Christian-infused articles in the parks,” Sekulow wrote.
Maverick City Music was appreciative of the attendees who braved the stormy conditions to perform songs with them.
Sekulow came to the conclusion that Sunday night’s performance “wasn’t about wishing upon a sun.” It involved praising the One who created the actors in the first place, singing to the Healer, and praying to the Savior. The music on Monday night were undoubtedly extremely exciting.
Anytime we see people exuding such fervor in public, it’s stimulating. And since it took position at Epcot, perhaps some attendees may come to believe in Jesus?
