Elon Musk‘s political action committee is facing legal action for reportedly failing to pay listed swing state electors as he promised to in exchange for signing requests or referring others for the 2024 election.

The petition comes after the Tesla mogul-turned-presidential director used payments to personal citizens as a motivating factor to get them to the elections to drop over a third of a billion dollars to secure a GOP win in November.

In exchange for signing a petition to support the Constitution, America PAC promised to give the petitioners in the seven battleground states$ 47 and eventually$ 100. Three residents of Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Georgia allege that the PAC broke the deal by not paying them in total.

Every vote who signed or referred a vote to the plea and received a partial payment may be represented in the national class action lawsuit, filed on May 8.

Similar prizes have been made, including a$ 1 million regular payment to those who signed a pledge supporting freedom of speech and the right to carry arms, which is now being led by Musk, who serves as President Donald Trump‘s director.

In addition, he also offered$ 100 to registered voters in Wisconsin to sign a petition opposing activist judges during the state’s Supreme Court election. Susan Crawford defeated billionaire Brad Schimel by ten points in April despite receiving a$ 25 million in funding.

Following a burst of executive actions that raised questions in red and blue regions about the fate of Medicaid and Social Security, Trump’s first check with swing-state voters came from the Wisconsin competition. Progressives have flipped GOP-controlled headquarters in some state special election events since the 2024 election, most recently in Omaha, where a Democrat won over the Republican former municipal candidate.

Musk was at the top of the list of Democratic donors for 2024, giving GOP candidates, social actions boards, and other non-earning organizations$ 291 million. He promised a” important role in elections” for his America PAC in the 2026 midterm primaries, in which House Republicans are defending a razor-thin lot, soon after Election Day.

Additionally, he has pledged to support Republicans who oppose Trump’s plan.

    America PAC declined to comment.
