Election officials in Texas can then select candidates for the Texas Armed Services Scholarship ( TASSP), a program funded by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Through the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program, Governor Texas says,” Texas&nbsp, is proud to maintain the next generation of martial frontrunners.” Greg Abbott, he said in a media release. This award supports our students ‘ development in academics and authority, as well as our ongoing efforts to defend our condition and our nation. I urge Texas’s politicians to designate excellent young Texans who are prepared to provide the greatest position in the greatest nation in the history of the world.

The scholarship is available to students who take part in the Reserve Officers ‘ Training Corps ( ROTC ) or other undergraduate officer commissioning programs at institutions of higher education in Austin, Texas, or in other locations. The maximum award is$ 15, 000 per recipient. These graduates will then assist in any branch of the US, US, or military companies, including the Texas Army National Guard, Texas Air National Guard, or commissioned soldiers.

Commissioner of Higher Education&nbsp, Wynn Rosser&nbsp, stated in the transfer that” Texans have a proud history of military service.” The Texas Armed Services Scholarship honours that calling and supports our individuals who seek to pursue higher education by serving in the military.

Individuals must be nominated by a&nbsp, Texas &nbsp, senator or representative to be eligible for a particular scholarship. The governor and lieutenant governor perhaps appoint two students at the same time, but each senator may select one. Students looking for a nomination can get their elected officials online, but any legislator may be the one to ask for a nomination.

Nominees for the 2025-26 educational time must be submitted by&nbsp, Sept. 30, 2025.
