After causing a fatal accident that left a 24-year-old in Aurora, Colorado, last July, a 15-year-old improper immigrant was recently sentenced to probation and community support.
The 15-year-old improper immigrant fatally shot 24-year-old Kaitlyn Weaver in Aurora, according to CBS News, by smashing a Jeep into Weaver’s area. The 24-year-old’s dad, John Weaver, claimed that the Arapahoe District Attorney’s Office immediately promised that prosecutors may press for the illegal immigrant young to receive the maximum sentence of two years in a correctional facility but that the district attorney’s office changed its plan of action after the administration changed.
Weaver claimed that the DA’s office had stated that this scenario would be a” no plea offer,” so they would not be making any concessions.
The 24-year-old prey was driving house when the 15-year-old illegal immigrant crashed into her car while traveling at a speed limit of 45 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood.
Weaver said,” She didn’t actually see him coming.” That’s how quickly he was moving. She was essentially immediately killed.
At the time of the fatal crash last year, the 15-year-old illegal immigrant was traveling in a vehicle with other adolescents, according to CBS News. The report claimed that the outlawed immigrant had been operating the car without permission, that the Car was insured, and that his family claimed the 15-year-old had driven the car without her knowledge. Following the incident, the girl was charged with vehicular crime, according to CBS News.

Weaver claimed that the illegal immigrant received a guilty plea deal, which included two years of probation and 100 hours of group support, under the new direction of Democratic district attorney Amy Padden.
Weaver retorted,” Why the change, I ask, if there is a plea offer?” This would be a unique event if he had accidentally shot someone who had taken a gun and then killed them. They may approach it in a completely different way. There is no “deterrence.”
Weaver continued,” Immigration, the criminal justice system, and all these things landed up one morning in Aurora, and then I sit around now without a girl.”
Arapahoe County Assistant District Attorney Ryan Brackley, according to CBS News, claimed that Padden did not influence the petition bargain and that the transaction was handled by an experienced attorney.
Before reaching a plea deal, Brackley said in a statement obtained by CBS News that prosecutors” consider the impact on the victims and the community,”” the characteristics of the accused such as age, guilt, and level of remorse,” and the “goals of sentencing, including deterrence, rehabilitating the offender, treating also situated offenders equally, holding each offender responsible.”
