Israeli rescue team reported on Thursday that over 120 people had been killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli strikes in the past two nights. Following Wednesday’s bombings that claimed at least 70 lives and brought the death toll for the two-day town of Khan Younis to 120, more than 54 people were killed immediately in fierce shelling in the southwestern Gaza town of Khan Younis. Since March 2, Israel has been using the siege to snag concessions from Hamas, but help has been stopped there. Hassan stated that” the minimum requirement” for negotiations would be the return of humanitarian aid to the war-torn region. The Israeli government was unable to respond immediately to the attacks. 82 bodies were brought to institutions over the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza health government, including 54 from Khan Younis, according to reports organization AP. Donald Trump, the US senator, is currently on a Middle Eastern tour, stopping in Israel to see several Gulf countries. His journey gave rise to hopes that it will lead to the commencement of humanitarian help to Gaza, which is currently in its second month of an Israeli blockade. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated earlier this week that he would intensify Israel’s military presence in Gaza and that he would work harder to overthrow the Hamas-led organization that controls the area, according to AP news organization. The only doctor in Gaza that continues to offer cancer care, the European Hospital Khan Younis, which the health ministry said is no longer operational, the only doctor there still offers cancer treatments, emphasised that the goal was” the devastation of Hamas.” Israeli strikes severely damaged the service, and local roads were likewise severely damaged, rendering it inaccessible. Nearly 500, 000 Palestinians are facing potential starvation, and nearly 1 million are battling to get enough food to survive, according to the integrated food security phase classification ( IPC ), a leading authority on global hunger crises. Israeli government spokesman David Mencer on Thursday denied that Gaza is suffering from a meal lack. He claimed that Hamas is holding back supplies and that” they need to open up the food to the people” from the October 7 strike to the continued bloodshed. In answer, Israel launched a massive military offensive that, according to Gaza’s health department, has since resulted in the deaths of more than 53, 000 Palestinians. Since Israel struck a stalemate on March 18 and almost 3, 000 people have died as a result. 58 of the roughly 250 victims taken on October 7 in Hamas ‘ assault on Israel are still being held by Hamas. 23 of those are said to still remain intact, despite Israeli authorities ‘ worries about the condition of three of them.
