success! The Canadian government’s plan to cull ( i .e., kill ) 400 ostriches, who are both their owners ‘ pets and their source of income, has received a temporary stay.

The ostriches were set to meet the fatal destiny of millions of chickens in Canada and the U.S. with the terrible mass-killing” solution” to bird flu after American authorities claimed two ostriches at a farm tested positive for H5N1 based on quite uncertain PCR tests weeks ago.

The pair who own the ostriches and were pleading with others to assist them rally the president’s order, which would ruin their farm and remove hundreds of birds because two were reportedly good for the virus, has at least been postponed.

When they learned the judgement in their favour, the owners and their allies began crying and cheering.

Watch as Universal Ostrich Farms ‘ Karen Espersen and Dave Bilinski cry out for the first time as the Regional District of Central Kootenay passes a movement that would end the CFIA’s filter plans. Full document coming soon at url ://SaveTheOstriches.com

The good news release was published on May 15 via Rebel News, which has been covering the situation and mobilizing support for Karen, Dave, and their animals.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency ( CFIA ) can’t dump hundreds of ostrich carcasses into the neighborhood landfill unless the agency can demonstrate that the birds are actually infected with avian flu, according to a motion that was passed in the Regional District of Central Kootenay.

Over 100 peaceful protesters have now gathered at the plantation, refusing to stand by while Ottawa approves the filter. Following a court ruling that favors the CFIA, the accumulating gives the organization the authority to deal with the slaughter.

We have already witnessed this with COVID-19. There was a one-size-fits-all” solution” required regardless of the context, which frequently ended up being more dangerous than the initial disease.

Ostriches were reportedly being used in studies to stop bird virus without simultaneously killing hundreds of birds. Insurgent News explains:

The producers have a good reason to believe that the 400 remaining long-necked friends have already developed healthy exemption from the avian flu, and that the younger ones who did so may not have had any H5N1 symptoms.

Even worse, Universal Ostrich Farms ‘ birds are not even used for human use. Instead, they’ve been essential to a ground-breaking collaboration with Japan’s Kyoto Prefectural University. Professionals and the school’s president, Dr. Yasuhiro Tsukamoto, have been properly removing antibodies from the animals ‘ strong eggs in an effort to advance treatments for the avian flu, which is said to be the catalyst for the shooting of the species and millions upon millions of others like them.

By the way, if you want to know why egg prices have been so high at your grocery store, you should know that the widespread slaughter of chickens over avian flu, in many cases with only a few birds passing the unreliable PCR tests, is a major factor. If only more poultry owners could secure favorable decisions to stop authorities from slaughtering birds in large numbers.
