At a Washington field office on Friday, Secret Service agents interrogated past FBI Director James Comey about a social media post that reportedly sparked fears that it called for assault against President Donald Trump.  ,
Kristi Noem, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, confirmed the discussion on Friday, saying that:” Now, federal officials from Secret Service Inter disgraced former FBI Director Comey regarding a social media post asking for the death of President Trump. I may proceed to take all necessary steps to make sure @POTUSTrump is protected. This investigation is ongoing.
Comey posed for an Instagram photo with seashells and the letters “8647” written out in the dust. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “86” as “get rid of” or” throw out,” and” 47″ refers to Trump as the country’s 47th president.  ,
Comey later deleted the image, which he believed to be a “political information,” saying he didn’t know it could be interpreted as a visit to crime.  ,
Comey wrote on Instagram,” I didn’t realize some people associate those numbers with violence.” I always thought of it, but I’m against any kind of violence, but I put the post over.
Trump did, however, claim on Fox News that Comey was aware that the concept was intended to be murdered.  ,
Trump said,” He knew exactly what that meant.” The meaning of that is unknown to a baby. If you are the FBI producer and have no idea what that means. That would be execution, and it clearly indicates it.
Republicans on social media vehemently opposed Comey’s blog, especially given that Trump has already experienced two death attempts.  ,
A Secret Service spokesman earlier on Friday told the Washington Examiner,” The Secret Service rapidly investigates anything that can be taken as a probable menace against our protectees.” We are aware of the former FBI director’s social media posts, and we take such racial rhetoric quite seriously.
