At least three people were hurt in a shooting at a Las Vegas gyms late on Friday, according to authorities, leaving two people dead, including the suspected shooter, and three people injured. Gunfire erupted at the Las Vegas Athletic Club on the city’s east side, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Undersheriff Andrew Walsh, and one man was taken to the hospital. One man was later declared dead. The suspect was shot as he attempted to flee the scene when officers responded to the affair. He was eventually put to death in a nearby hospital. One man was reportedly in critical condition, while another three people were hurt, and were then transported to nearby institutions. Walsh claimed that while authorities look into the cause of the invasion, the public is no longer a threat. Witness Claudio Vigani, who was present at the gym when the shooting started, said in a speech to KLAS-TV that” they said find out, get out, get away.” The dead person was right next to the machine, Vigani said. Around the time of the incident, Gary Steward and another person were traveling to the treadmill. A trip to a diet store unwittingly prevented them from being caught in the drama, according to Steward, who informed the Las Vegas Journal. This could have saved their lives. Steward said,” It’s just a strange feeling right now.” ” It’s weird. In the US, almost 47, 000 people died in the year 2023 from gun-related injury, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. This number includes accidental gunshots and other less popular types of gun-related deaths, such as those committed in accidents and untold circumstances. The issue of college shooting incidents in the country, which put the lives of the children at risk, is also a pressing issue.
