Armed Forces Day is observed on May 17 as a moment to remember those who willingly give their lives in order to protect our freedom.
President Donald Trump praised” America’s tradition of awe-inspiring soldiers” in his formal proclamation naming this as Armed Forces Day in line with years of tradition. I urge all Americans to show the flag of the United States at their homes and businesses on Armed Forces Day.

Now is a wonderful time to bless all those who know and pray for those who are serving in the military. Additionally, it is a great opportunity to take the time to learn more about some of the military soldiers from British past.  ,

We pause on Armed Forces Day to remember the men and women who serve in the American Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force. Our fighting makes bravely protect our liberty, support our border, and promote global security through charitable missions and disaster relief activities every day throughout our country and in far-flung regions of the world. They are without equal in America’s legacy of incredible soldiers.

As commander-in-chief, Trump continued, saying that his “highest responsibility is to ensure our all-volunteer defense, 2.1 million-strong, is the nation’s most destructive fighting power.” In order to achieve this,” I have taken bold steps to promote military superiority and preparation across every branch of services, making sure that all active work, National Guard, and Reserve members who wear our Nation’s even are ready to install, fight, and succeed against any adversary in any domain.”

He boasted that” America’s war will soon be stronger and more powerful than ever before,” in the typical Trump style. Since November, there have been record-breaking selection rates for every branch of the armed forces.
