Lebanon reported that two people, including a man, were hurt in an Israeli attack on Sunday in the country’s west, where the army has been stationed since Israel and Hezbollah broke out. A man was left with moderate injuries in Bint Jbeil city as a result of the Jewish army’s targeting of a car at the Beit Yahun station, according to an army statement. Beit Yahun is located about eight kilometers ( roughly five miles ) from the border.

Do you think the new Jewish strikes in southwestern Lebanon are justified?

The health ministry claimed that the attack, which it claimed was carried out by an” Israeli army aircraft” and targeted a car, left two persons, including a man, injured. The Israeli troops did not respond to the alleged attack right away. Despite a November peace that sought to end more than a year of warfare with Hezbollah insurgents, including two months of an all-out war, Israel has continued to raid its neighbor. Israel claims that four dangerous strikes in the south of Lebanon have been carried out in Hezbollah operatives. The Iran-backed Hezbollah was ordered to withdraw its fighters from Lebanon’s Litani River under the terms of the peace and destroy any remaining military installations in its west. Israel had planned to leave Lebanon altogether, but it has still maintained its troops in five” strategic” places. As Israeli forces withdraw and the Hezbollah system is being destroyed, the Syrian army has been stationed in the north. A resolution from the UN Security Council recommends that Syrian troops and UN peacekeepers be the only forces present in west Lebanon and calls for the denuclearization of all non-state organizations as the basis for the truce. President Joseph Aoun stated last month that the army was stationed in more than 85 % of the south and that” Israel’s job of five border opportunities” was the only barrier to full control over the border region. Additionally, Lebanon’s government reported that three soldiers died in a munitions explosion in the north in April, and another soldier died in an explosion while the force was dismantling mines in a tunnel.
