In a car bomb explosion on Sunday evening in Qillah Abdullah, a town in Balochistan’s state bordering Afghanistan, four people died and 20 were hurt. A number of shops and the exterior wall of a building that houses armed forces were damaged. No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, according to deputy director Abdullah Riaz, according to AP news company. The cultural Baloch separatists are still feared because they often target security forces and residents in Balochistan and different parts of Pakistan. A spokeswoman for the Balochistani state, Shahid Rind, blasted the bombing and said an investigation is being conducted. A protracted insurrection in Pakistan has been at the heart of it, with several separatist organizations carrying out problems, including the banned Balochistan Liberation Army, which was officially designated a criminal organization by the US in 2019. Pakistan often accuses its competitor, India, of supporting the Pakistani Taliban and the BLA, both of whom have recently increased their attacks there. In an assault on a train carrying thousands of people in Balochistan in March, one of the deadliest of these assaults took place. BLA militants killed 33 persons, mostly men, in one of the victims. The BLA made the request on May 11 to demand Pakistan’s aid in the midst of rising tensions between the two nations. India has yet to respond to the request from the BLA. The BLA more refuted claims that it was acting as an Indian proxy and said that if India provided social, political, and defense support, the Baloch nation could help create a peaceful, prosperous, and independent Balochistan.
