President Donald Trump made the announcement during his subsequent visit to the UAE that Abu Dhabi will have the largest AI college of its kind outside of the United States. This is a bold new chapter in the development of the two countries ‘ growing digital ally and a significant step in it.

The deal was overseen by Trump and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the leader of the UAE. The two nations will jointly manage the access to the campus ‘ processing power, which will be restricted to approved&nbsp, cloud service providers and only to American tech giants.

G42 to direct structure, U.S. companies to run,

The 10-square-mile AI school will be constructed by G42, a tech company based in the UAE, and is supported by various U.S. businesses. This falls under the U.S. UAE AI Acceleration Partnership, which aims to improve cooperation in emerging technology and AI. It will have the following:

5GW of power is required for AI data centres, enough to power millions of sophisticated AI cards.

    • A scientific area dedicated to the development and analysis of AI.
    • a combination of renewable, radioactive, and gasoline energy to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The project was described as” a testament to the ongoing collaboration between our countries in artificial intelligence,” according to Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy ruler of Abu Dhabi and chairman of the AIATC.

According to WAM,” It is an expression of the UAE’s devotion to pioneering technology and fostering global cooperation in artificial intelligence, strengthening the UAE’s status as a gateway for cutting-edge study and sustainable development, and delivering revolutionary benefits for humanity,” he added.

The service will be totally controlled for access. U.S. hyperscalers and cloud service providers, who have been given permission by both governments, may have access to the assess sources only. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard W. Lutnick called it” a traditional Middle Eastern collaboration on AI.”

According to Lutnick,” National companies will run the data centers and provide cloud services managed by Americans throughout the region.” This partnership represents a significant step toward achieving President Trump’s goal of dominating American artificial intelligence.

opening windows to cutting-edge AI cards

Prior to now, the UAE had to be granted access to the best-tier AI chips according to U.S. concerns about possible tech leakage to China. With more stringent safety standards and U.S. managed operations, those limitations are lessening.

The UAE has long sought out cutting-edge AI cards as a result of the package. According to sources, the UAE had transfer up to 500, 000 of Nvidia’s most innovative AI chips every year starting in 2025. The scope of the project suggests substantial potential for the UAE’s Artificial ambitions, despite Nvidia’s lack of comment on the contract.

The UAE, which has been navigating its relations to its largest trading partner, China and the United States, has been making a strategic move with the deal. To avoid the detachment of delicate systems, the UAE has committed to aligning its regional protection policies with U.S. standards.
