'I envision a country like my dad came into': What Indian-origin Saikat Chakrabarti said on H-1B
Saikat Chakrabarti, the head of the Indian-origin Democrat party, said he supports expanding the H-1B card program.

Saikat Charabarti, an Indian-born politician, recently voiced his support for the H-1B visa system in the announcement of his work for the California’s 11th Congressional District in the Democratic primary for 2026. He claimed that because he envisions the US as the one his father entered, he believes there should be more H-1B visa. I believe there should be more emigration, as I do with H-1B permits. I sort of dream about trying to make a nation like the one my father entered, where we are hiring newcomers, I suppose? The Democratic Party chief who worked for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders said, “where it doesn’t seem like we’re in zero-sum sport when it comes to immigration.” However, he made a pitch for changes to the pay structure. ” As I mentioned at the time, America in the 1970s really had immigration offices all over the world Interviewing people who came here,” I said. We were so full of potential, enthusiasm, and growth that we were really pleading with immigrants to help create this nation. We had just placed a man on the moon, constructed the interstate highway system, and experienced years of rising wages and quality of life,” he wrote in a post-X-post. ” I think we can rebuild that nation and stop being a shrinking dessert.” Instead of trying to figure out who to blow out, I want to become a nation that is enthusiastic and growing. ” I ultimately disagree with anyone who thinks America is stuck where it is right now, and we must adopt a zero-sum thinking to move forward. If we accept that, he said, we are accepting our decline. Although Chakrabarti was born in Texas, his parents immigrated from India to the US. Chakrabarti made it a point to explain how his home learned to enter the US during his campaign. Goals were made in America. My father was born in India, and he frequently spent days without food. On just one pay, he also has the opportunity to save our family from poverty in India and create a stable, middle-class life for us in America. I think America can be a nation that transcends its divisions to create a world where everyone is eager for the future, including their own prospect, their children’s future, and the country’s entire future,” he wrote.
