
Kristi Noem, the director of homeland security, denied reports that the federal government is considering creating a reality TV show with immigrants competing for citizenship in the United States.
Noem stated in a statement to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that” there are no plans either to do a reality show.” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) did, nevertheless, question her about why her director had previously told the media.
” Sir, we are unaware of a reality show. Before the reporter reached up, I was unaware of the possibility that something had been submitted to the department. We informed him that we were unaware of it. We are unsure of what he is referring to. Noem remarked that they still printed incorrect data.
