Kristi Noem, the director of homeland security, denied reports that the federal government is considering creating a reality TV show with immigrants competing for citizenship in the United States.

Noem stated in a statement to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that” there are no plans either to do a reality show.” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) did, nevertheless, question her about why her director had previously told the media.

Is DHS evaluating a real show to help newcomers who want to become US citizens really? Your spokesman is quoted in the Wall Street Journal as saying,” It’s in the very beginning stages of that vetting process. Before being denied or approved, each plan goes through a rigorous vetting process, Blumenthal said.

” Sir, we are unaware of a reality show. Before the reporter reached up, I was unaware of the possibility that something had been submitted to the department. We informed him that we were unaware of it. We are unsure of what he is referring to. Noem remarked that they still printed incorrect data.

” There might have been something submitted somewhere along the column because there are propositions pitched to the section,” Noem continued.” I and my executive team had no knowledge of a real show.”

Rob Worsoff, the writer and producer of A&amp, E truth show Duck Dynasty, suggested a series called The American in a 35-page present pitch obtained by the Daily Mail in mid-May. Noem apparently suggested that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services people from the Department of Homeland Security would serve as judges on the program.

Contestants may travel by train to various local problems, including building and launching a jet in Cape Canaveral, Florida, balancing on files in Wisconsin, and slogging gold at a San Francisco me.

The winner may be sworn in as a member of Washington, D.C. in the last season, which would include a million American Airlines items, a$ 10, 000 Starbucks gift cards, and a lifetime supply of 76 oil.

Noem reportedly worked with streaming service to get the program picked up. Some people who criticized the original record for portraying immigrants as being a form of entertainment were critical of the report.

Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for DHS, told the Daily Mail that she thought it was a” good idea” and that the department was going over the ball and making a visit with the manufacturer in early May.

AFTER MEXICO, THE MANY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARRESTED NEAR CANADIAN BORDER

Noem, but, stated on Tuesday in a statement to the Senate that” that director was entirely misquoted.”

Noem argued that the publication of that article when they knew it was false defied their standards. It was totally inaccurate, totally inaccurate, and false.
