However, there is still a Department of Education, but the good news is that Trump’s education minister is busy trying to reform the American educational system.

In a media release released on May 20 that called for “evidence-based education, expanding education choice, and returning training to the state, Secretary Linda McMahon set new priorities for voluntary offers. The federal government was not legally required to oversee education, and its involvement has contributed to the problem of crashing test scores, awakened indoctrination, destructive youth, and many other things.

According to McMahon,” Voluntary provides coming from the Department of Education will now be focused on important learning and expanding selection, no divisive ideologies and unsubstantiated strategies.” She continued,” It is crucial that we return to the basics, expand our understanding options, and ensure that decisions in training are made closest to the child’s heart,” in response to this year’s disappointing reading and math results. We have let to many young people down by providing poor knowledge.

The following was highlighted in the media release:

Options include expanding charters, creative school models, K-12 open admission, dissemination of information on alternative options, home-based training, parallel membership programs, career preparation, tertiary distance education, skills-based education, apprenticeships, work-based learning, accelerated learning and tutoring, etc. &nbsp,

This  marks the fastest an education secretary has released grant priorities in an administration’s first year, according to the press release.

McMahon’s press release still uses some ambiguous jargon, such as when it blabs,” The science of reading is a body of evidence-based research that proves the importance of providing direct, systematic, and explicit instruction based on phonological awareness, phonic decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension.” However, the priorities themselves are brief and direct.

These priorities, of course, represent a significant change from the Biden-Harris administration, which was obsessed with putting forth DEEI standards for our school system, worsening an already severe educational crisis. Quite the opposite is true: race-baiting doesn’t teach children anything useful or help them improve their grades.

The press release gave instances of problematic priorities during the Biden era:

    • Through diversity plans, admissions policies, and technical assistance, &nbsp, pushing student racial diversity
    • Including DEI in educational fields like civics, STEM, and career and technical education,
    • Instead of focusing on diversity among educators,
    • Promoting social emotional development and &nbsp,
    • supporting policies that promote social justice and diversity in schools. &nbsp,

These idiotic, wake policies have been replaced by the new administration’s more wise and effective priorities. The American educational system needs to be seriously overhauled.
