On Wednesday, Democratic Party member LaMonica McIver was removed from the United States House of Representatives through an established resolution passed by Republican member Nancy Mace. The decision comes two nights after the New Jersey member was charged with assaulting law enforcement on May 9 during a protest outside a detention center for immigrants in Newark, New Jersey. We recently submitted an established decision to remove Lamonica McIver from the US House of Representatives. Nobody can break the law. Assault is a murder. The British citizens “deserve much,” said Mace, a representative from South Carolina, in a tweet posted on X. In a separate article, Mace criticized McIver for his “disgraceful abuse of power.” ” Congress people don’t receive a complimentary move to break the law,” said one member. Nobody can escape the law, never yet you, LaMonica. This was a blatant abuse of power. She shouldn’t be serving in Congress, the article read. Together with two different US Congress members, McIver was protesting at Newark’s Delaney Hall detention center in what they claimed were their” congressively mandated oversight jobs.” Her own Democrat Ras Baraka, the governor of Newark, who was detained following the incident, afterward had his fees dropped. McIverLaw enforcement claimed that during the altercation, McIver” slammed her arm into the body of a uniform emigration official” while attempting to “restrain the agent by violently grabbing him.” She is even accused of “blocking” the arrest of Baraka, the governor, by immigration agents. Additionally, on Wednesday, a New Jersey federal judge made McIver on her own recognizance during the congresswoman’s initial court appearance on abuse costs, albeit almost from Washington. McIver has described the allegations as “absurd and ridiculous.”
