It sounded like a joke when we first learned that Jake Tapper was co-writing a guide about the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline. Jake Tapper was a member of the legacy press machine that ignored the mental decline that traditional advertising was often covering. He was a part of the problem. The major media made justifications for it, but we all saw it.

In notably bad blood on MSNBC in March of 2024, Joe Scarborough infamously slammed anyone who dared to question Joe Biden’s mentality.  ,

I wouldn’t suggest it if it weren’t the truth.

It wasn’t the case. It was a lay, plain and simple. All was aware of it back then, and everyone is today. There is no spinning that kind of over-the-top compliment for Biden’s mental abilities unless you’re purposefully trying to conceal something. You don’t go on the air and claim that Biden is” the best type always,” unless you’re trying to sell a fake version of reality.

And that brings us back to the book by Tapper. It’s merely a case of trying to rewrite the record, according to critics, to purify the media’s role in the cover-up and let the hit be the judge. This week’s looks on Morning Joe all but confirmed it. Scarborough was a poor, persuaded mind, individually targeted by Biden in some sophisticated Jedi mind method, in his telling. It’s absurd, and worse, it’s deliberate sophistry. Tapper isn’t simply documenting events; he’s also giving his media kids a chance to act as though they weren’t aware of what they had to do.
According to Tapper, Biden decided to launch a personal beauty promotion after being urged never to run again by David Ignatius ‘ 2023 column. This is done to benefit Beltway advertising leaders. Tapper claims that Biden put a focus on Scarborough to ensure that he considered and adhered to the text for the Biden campaign.
Tapper continued,” And he came on this present, and you men had a lively discussion about this.” You generally agreed that Kamala Harris was unfit for the job because you’d been hearing about this, but that there was really no solution. Democrats were telling you that in the background. Joe Biden was aware of that.

Tapper’s schtick was meant to cover Scarborough, making it sound as though he wasn’t deceiving himself or fabricating any of his claims; rather, he was deceived by a really determined Biden.
Jake Tapper made a weak, almost laughable excuse for Joe Scarborough’s blatantly misled viewers rather than admitting it: Biden had privately worked to persuade him that he was intellectually intelligent. As if Biden pulled off some workshop in reasoning and weak Joe only fell for it, Tapper framed it as though Scarborough had been duped. Let’s face it, this isn’t news; rather, it’s popularity management. Tappers ‘ explanation isn’t a major defense; rather, it’s a permission slip for Scarborough to declare he was defrauded and not responsible.
The truth is much more scathing. Scarborough sounded like he was constantly selling a story, putting his personal reputation in jeopardy, not as someone who had been misled. Tapper’s portrayal sent a message to Scarborough’s people that he had simply been duped more than that he had been lying to them.

The kicker here is that Tapper’s defence was really worse than Scarborough’s initial panic. Because we just saw how Tapper’s true objective was to release the media from responsibility for the cover-up. Tapper is assisting in rewriting the story to keep the media safe from criticism, instead of holding anyone responsible. And by doing so, he confirms what many people have now assumed: Biden was covered by the media before they were covered by them both today.
