In honor of Flag Day and the U.S. Army’s 250th celebration, the U.S. Army began preparations on Wednesday for the transportation of M1 Abrams tanks from Fort Cavazos, Texas, to Washington, D.C.

U.S. authorities confirmed that the 28 M1 Abrams tanks may be transported to Washington, D.C., for the defense rally, according to ABC News. Additionally, U.S. authorities made an announcement that the tank may be transported by carriages later this month.

In addition to the M1 Abrams vehicles, ABC News reported that the Douglas C-47 travel plane, the M4 Sherman reservoir, and the P-51 Mustang warrior will also be featured in the martial parade along with World War II military cars. The military festival will also include 34 horses, two horses, one dog, and one carriage, according to the store.

According to ABC News, Army officials have estimated that the celebration marking the 250th anniversary is scheduled to cost between$ 25 million and$ 45 million. According to ABC News, the final cost of the events might be significantly higher if security is factored in, especially given that the martial parade has been designated as a “national security specific event” by the U.S. Secret Service.

Trump confirms a “big, stunning” military parade in Washington, D.C.

The “grand martial rally” will take place in Washington, D.C., on June 14 to honor the Army’s 250th day, according to a press release from America 250 on Wednesday.

” President Donald J. Trump may enjoy our soldiers who have defended our nation through strength and selflessness,” America 250 said, along with soldiers, active-duty forces, wounded soldiers, Gold Star Families, and Patriotic Americans from across the nation.

The rally follows the Army’s development from the American Army of Tomorrow to the American Army of Tomorrow,” according to America 250. Through the participation of traditional U.S. Army staff reenactors, period-corrected equipment, vehicles, outstanding flyovers, and military bands, attendees will have the opportunity to witness 250 years of Army heritage.

According to ABC News, U.S. authorities informed reporters that West Potomac Park will be the location of the big military technology that will be displayed during the upcoming military festival. The festival will take place on Constitution Avenue and close to the White House, according to the shop.

The Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team may be featured at the Ellipse, according to ABC News, and one of the pilots will provide Trump with a wrapped British flag. The senator is expected to enlist in approximately 250 Army recruits after the martial parade has ended, according to ABC News.
