As the trade war rages on, President Donald Trump has mandated a 50 % tariff on Apple smartphones and items from the European Union.
The EU continues to operate on the absurd presumptions that America has long promoted, such as that foreign nations have the right to disparage and handle us wrongfully while also having the right to never stop receiving financial and economic benefits from us. Trump tries to correct that absurdity, and the righteous Union oligarchs are substantially angry.

Trump said on Truth Social Friday,” The European Union, which was established with the intention to exploit the US through deal, has been very difficult to deal with.”
Trump attributed the EU’s “powerful Trade Barriers, Vat Taxes, crazy Business Penalties, Non-Monetary Trade Barriers, Monetary Manipulations, cruel and unfair lawsuits against Americans Companies, and more” to the fact that no agreement has yet been reached. Trump argued that these “have resulted in a Trade Deficit with the United States of more than$ 250, 000, 000 annually,” which is completely unacceptable.
The chairman was irritated and said,” Our conversations with them are going somewhere”! He stated that in an effort to pressure the EU into agreeing to a more positive offer,” I am recommending a flat 50 % Tax on the European Union, starting on June 1, 2025. If the product is created or produced in the United States, there is no price. Thank you for paying attention to this issue.”

Some post-World War II skewed trade agreements that the United States freely created to benefit Europe and Asia at our cost have long outlived any justification. But, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced on May 21 that he had productive conversations with a Japanese national while the EU is in its heels.
On the heels of the# G7 sessions in Banff, Bessent shared a “great to meet again with Chinese Minister of Finance @KatsunobuKato1”. We addressed significant issues with the U.S.-Japan economic relationship, including global surveillance, bilateral trade, and our shared perception that exchange rates may be determined by the market. The Union must now be realistic.
Trump is trying to get the business to stop manufacturing goods in China and India, where labour costs may be cheaper and employees are treated unfairly. Trump wrote,” I have long before informed Tim Cook of Apple that I expect their iPhones to be produced and built in the United States, not in India, or anywhere else,” Trump wrote.

He cautioned against” Apple may pay a price of at least 25 % to the United States” if that is not the case.
We must reintroduce production and employment to America, and we must also impose tariffs on another nations ‘ products. This is simply common sense. Trump and the British people are fed up with being both the country’s punching bag and the budget.
